The Capsule-Lock accessory attaches to your DynaMount and gives a simple but key enhancement to its ability to rotate a microphone. While the standard X2-R/V2-R/X1-R/V1-R do already have the ability to rotate a mic, the capsule of the microphone likely swings in an arc during these motions. With the Capsule-Lock installed, the mic can be rotated while keeping the capsule in a fixed position!
The Capsule-Lock is adjustable and able to be used with mics of many shapes and sizes. (See “Specs” tab for max allowed mic weight)
Made from black anodized aerospace grade aluminum with a precision stainless steel shaft and ball-bearing drive, the Capsule-Lock features the high quality construction you’ve come to expect from DynaMount.
Note: This accessory can only be used with DynaMount models that already have rotation ability (X2-R, X2-R Micro, V2-R, X1-R or V1-R).
Note: The Capsule-Lock cannot be used simultaneously with a Z-Axis Accessory on the same unit. Either accessory can be taken on/off as desired with just a few screws.
