NOTE! Save all parts/screws removed from your DynaMount during the installation, in case you would like to change the setup back sometime later.

Installation Instructions

  1. Loosen the two set screws on the Threaded Hub (rotate counter-clockwise) using the 2mm Hex Key
  2. Remove the Threaded Hub (see Troubleshooting tips at the end of this guide if the hub feels stuck or hard to remove)
  3. Line up the bump on the Pulley with the flat part of the motor shaft, then push the Pulley all the way down (take note of the microswitch to avoid pinching it)
  4. Tighten the two set screws using the 2mm Hex Key. Firmly tighten these two set screws to avoid any wiggle/play.
  5. Remove the two front motor screws using the 2mm Hex Key
  6. Loop the belt from the Support Frame over the pulley
  7. With belt looped, now position the Support Frame
  8. Insert and tighten the two Short Screws into the top holes, using the 2.5mm Hex Key
  9. Insert and tighten the two Long Screws in the bottom holes
  10. Using the app, activate the Accessories > Capsule-Lock setting and then power up the DynaMount, calibrate it, and set the mic rotation position to 90° (centered)
  11. Place one or more washers followed by the end of the Slotted Plate over the shaft on the Support Frame. Line up the Slotted Plate so it is centered, then tighten the two set screws using the 2.5mm Hex Key to secure.
  12. Attach the mic clip to the slotted plate, and position such that the capsule of the mic is directly over the axis of rotation
  13. If the mic rotation angle is not perfectly centered, either loosen the two set screws on the slotted plate and adjust the angle, or use the “Rotation Offset” feature in the app to fine-tune adjustments!
  14. Have fun!

Troubleshooting

Having trouble removing either the Threaded Hub or the Pulley? First double-check that you have loosened both set screws enough. If the set screws are loose but it still won’t slide off the shaft, try using a small flat-head screwdriver for leverage to pry it up and off the shaft.
