Windows App Downloads

The DynaMount app is available on the Microsoft Store, however that version only supports Windows 10+. For users with Windows 7/8 computers, our app must be downloaded directly from here:

Other than the Microsoft Store, this is the only official download location for our Windows app.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the appropriate Windows app .zip file from one of the links above
  2. Unzip the app to the folder location of your choice
  3. Double-click on the “DynaMount” icon in this folder to launch
  4. You may get a warning the first time that “The publisher could not be verified”, ignore and click “Run” anyways.
  5. Enjoy!

Note About Bonjour (mDNS) Drivers

What is “Bonjour”? It is a popular utility that allows for automatic discovery of devices (such as DynaMounts) on your local network.

In order to function properly, the DynaMount app requires Bonjour drivers to be installed on your Windows computer. If you do not have Bonjour installed, you will see a popup error notice about this each time you start our app.

To install Bonjour, simply download and run the installer found at this link: https://support.apple.com/kb/dl999

Once Bonjour is installed, restart the DynaMount app and you should no longer see the error message. If the error persists, on your Windows computer go to the Services app > double-click on “Bonjour Service” > ensure Startup Type is set to Automatic > then restart the DynaMount app and try again.
