X1-R
Dual-Axis + 360° Rotation
It is no surprise that the X1-R has been the go-to choice of top producers, engineers and artists in professional and project studios around the world. It’s perfect for finding the sweetspot on guitar cabinets, bass cabinets, acoustic guitars, overheads, kick drums, pianos, cellos and anything else where mic placement matters.
“So easy to get tone dialed in it’s a no brainer.”
-Andy Sneap (Producer/Mixer/Engineer — Megadeth, Opeth, Testament)
V1-R
Single Axis + 360° Rotation
The V1-R is a powerful tone finding tool with a much smaller footprint than our X models. It is incredibly useful for finding the sweetspot on guitar and bass cabs, acoustic guitars, outside of kick drums or any other source where small movements can make a big difference in sound.
“The DynaMount V1-R enables me to get fast, accurate mic placement.”
-Michael “Ace” Baker (FOH Engineer — Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani)
“The ultimate solution for mic positioning.”
-Recording Magazine

Andy Sneap

“So easy to get tone dialed in it’s a no brainer.”
“It’s amazing. You can sit in the control room and dial the mic position in… it made such a difference.”
MusicTech Magazine
“Pioneering… 10/10”
“The DynaMount devices are very clever time-savers that will make your studio life much easier and more efficient.”
“The beauty of these mic mounts and their associated app is that they lend themselves to experimentation.”
Chris Dugan
Mixer/Engineer — Green Day, Iggy Pop, Smash Mouth
“Works perfectly… Everything setup and connected super fast. I used it on the whole record [Revolution Radio by Green Day]!”
Michael “Ace” Baker
FOH Engineer — Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani
“Guys like Joe [Satriani] have worked their entire life to get the tone that best represents what they are trying to say. The guitar in the house should sound just like the guitar coming out of his Marshall. Mic placement is the best method to capture the sweetest spot on the speaker thereby disposing of the need for radical EQ adjustments. The DynaMount V1-R enables me to get fast, accurate mic placement.”
Glenn Fricker
Owner/Engineer/Producer – Spectre Sound Recording Studios
“I dialed in the best guitar sound I’ve ever got in under 5 minutes.”
“I wound up putting the mic somewhere completely different than where I would normally put it.”

“The ultimate solution for mic positioning.”
“These small adjustments can make a huge difference in sound, and I felt like I actually landed on better tones because it was so easy to further fine-tune my positioning beyond my initial setups.”
Michael Nielsen
Composer — Ninja Tracks
“This must be what it was like when the first EQ’s showed up in studios.”
Kevin ‘131’ Gutierrez
Multi-Platinum Awarded Engineer/Producer
“This. Thing. Rules. No way I could live without one of these now.”
Tommy Detamore
Producer/Engineer/Multi-instrumentalist — Doug Sahm, Jim Lauderdale, Augie Meyers
“Without having used a DynaMount one might have the tendency to regard it as a luxury. I’m here to tell you that after having used one, I view it as a necessity. It is without question a timesaver in the studio, but more than that, it is a device that encourages experimentation. And that can make all the difference in a production.”
Fred Archambault
Producer/Engineer — Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu
“It brings back engineering into engineering.”
“What I love about the old school guys, the big engineering legends, you hear about guys like, oh they didn’t use EQ on the record and they didn’t use compression, well that’s because they knew how to place microphones and what better tool than this to do that.”
Larry Crane
Editor/Founder — Tape Op Magazine
“To be able to tune the sound to fit the track, in real time, is a marvel.”
“I’ve been surprised by some very off-axis and strange mic placements [that captured the most appropriate tone]; ones that I would never have used when setting mics up visually by hand!”
Scott Henderson
Jazz/Blues Guitarist
“It’s amazing and I’ve discovered many mic positions which I’d never previously thought to try”
